A big THANK YOU to all the amazing individuals and groups that have visited CAM!
It's official – the buzz about CAM is booming! In just under two years, we've had a whirlwind of activity, welcoming a remarkable 10K guests, guiding tours and hosting events for over 150 vibrant groups, and igniting countless conversations. Word on the street is spreading like wildfire, doubling our subscriber community to a fantastic 1800 and reaching over 1,000 followers on LinkedIn! We're thrilled to be one of the hottest spots for Chicago Architecture Center’s Annual Open House Chicago, leaping from 600 visitors in 2023 to a phenomenal 1000 in 2024. Plus, our bi-monthly "Meetings of the Whole" are the place to be for Chicago’s climate action crowd, and we're now the go-to venue for out-of-town climate conferences looking to host unforgettable events and outings.
Our goal is to reach as many people as possible from all over the city, state, and hopefully someday, the country or even world! We have big dreams and we can only get there with your help. Visiting CAM or hosting an event with us is a fantastic opportunity to join a community of dedicated individuals committed to making a difference. The enthusiasm is sure to leave you inspired and ready to make an impact. Join the excitement!
Be a part of something extraordinary! We can't wait to see you at CAM!

Community Support
“I believe that the Climate Action Museum can support our mission and will help us and others to raise awareness and enthusiasm for the opportunities created through the City’s decarbonization efforts in historically underserved Black and Brown communities.”
- Naomi Davis, Founder and CEO, Blacks in Green
“We believe the Climate Action Museum’s vision of inspiring Chicagoans to take action in their own communities and throughout the Chicagoland region to mitigate climate change will help push Chicago forward in the fight against climate change.”
- Robert ‘A.J.’ Patton, Managing Partner and Founder, 548 Enterprise
“The Climate Action Museum will…help advance the conversation for the conservation of water, designing healthy environments and equitable communities.”
- Alicia Ponce, Founder of Arquitina, Founder and Principal of APMonarch Architects
“The Climate Action Museum is an exciting and creative way to educate all Chicagoans about their impact on the environment and inspire them to take action in their own lives and in their own homes to reduce their carbon footprint.”
- Brian Imus, Executive Director, Illinois Green Alliance
“We believe that the Climate Action Museum will be a resource, whereby our Uptown residents, building owners and property managers can experience, learn and find solutions to mitigate the carbon emissions coming from their properties.”
- Lesley Showers, Executive Director, The Institute of Cultural Affairs
“The scale of needed change is so substantial that people are at a loss for what to do and where they can make an impact. Chicagoans would benefit from an accessible, engaging place that explains climate change and doable actions to mitigate its effects. That is the Climate Action Museum.”
- Bonnie McDonald, President and CEO, Landmarks Illinois
“I believe the Climate Action Museum can engage every community in the city. And I believe every community in the city needs to experience the Climate Action Museum.”
- Tim Tracey, AIA, SmithGroup, Vice President / Office Director (Chicago)
