Then we'd like to have a wrap up session on November 25th. We realize this is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so please be sure to let us know if this works. EMPOWERMENT COLLECTIVE - GLOBAL PRAYER DAY

One of our dear partners, Empowerment Collective, will be hosting “Global Prayer Day To End Modern Slavery Now!” on November 28th and you are invited to join in. The event is purposefully held on Black Friday, a day of over consumption, to hold space for the 50+ million people in modern slavery and learn from expert speakers. Please register on Eventbrite to be a part of this first annual global event bringing awareness to this threat to human dignity and our planet.

What has to change for Chicago to GET TO ZERO Carbon?
CAM is honored to host Carl Elefant FAIA author of the book “Going for Zero” for a provocative discussion on what the architecture, development, and preservation communities in Chicago need to do differently to get to zero carbon. Known worldwide for coining the phrase “the greenest building . . . is one that is already built” Carl will be joined by respondents Bonnie McDonald, and other surprise guests. Interested in buying a signed copy of the book? Come early or stick around.

Third Act Sun Day Solar Fest
The Climate Action Museum will be taking part in the Third Act Sun Day Solar Fest on Sunday, September 21st. The festival will be open from 12PM - 4PM and the Climate Action Museum will have a table set up along with other amazing organizations like 350.org, Citizens Utility Board, Third Act IL, Sierra Club and many more!
Chicago Solar Fest will embrace the power of the sun to inspire, motivate, and educate today to ensure a sustainable tomorrow for all who inhabit the Earth. We hope to see you there!
