Stop by the museum any time between 10am and 5 pm. Admission is free!

At 5:30 PM, the Climate Action Museum will host its own event, “What's COP28? Hear from five people who went there in December” (Eventbrite)

The Climate Action Museum is an exhibit and convening space to teach and learn about climate change adaptation, collective action, and better building, land use, and design techniques. Join us at our first event in 2024!

COP28 happened in Dubai in December 2023 and a lot of things happened...but what happened? There are a lot of people who don't know anything about what COP is and what happens at COP events. Hear from five COP28 attendees (including two Chicagoland village mayors!) about what they experienced and how they contributed to the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

Panelists:

  • Mark Nelson

  • Roger Blomquist

  • Katrina Thompson, Mayor of the Village of Broadview

  • Catherine Adduci, Mayor of the Village of River Forest

  • Gary Cuneen
